Elle Novella // The Revere // Isobel Holly // Jennifer Stewart

Saturday 22nd February 2020
Tickets £9.00

Alt-Pop singer-songwriter Elle Novella makes her stunning debut with ‘Shake Me’ October 11th.

The song has already received radio support from BBC Essex and TalkRadio.

Hailing from Essex, the young singer-songwriter crafts her unique vintage-pop sound from her love for classic rock, jazz and soul. Taking her cues from the silky production of acts like Lana del Rey, and incorporating elements of synth, indie and alternative – Elle Novella’s music is deeply inspired by household names like Kate Bush and Fleetwood Mac.

Elle recorded her debut EP with rising producer Anthony Trueman and engineer Felix Davis (Lana Del Rey, Youngr). An English Literature graduate, Elle has always had an interest in art and storytelling. This is visible through her unique and poetic lyrics. Elle changes identities and narrative point of view with every song. As a writer she masters the craft of shedding her own ego, diving into the soul of another person and experiencing the world from that point of view

The Revere are a four piece indie/alternative rock band from Norwich, Norfolk. Consisting of four best friends (two of which are brothers), they have Matt 'Mole' Williamson on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Billy Dunthorne on lead guitar, Alfie Britcher on bass guitar and Cameron Britcher on the drums. Inspired by the release of several albums in 2016 such as Blossoms, DMAs and The Last Shadow Puppets, they decided to get out of the pub and get in the rehearsal studio to work on a batch of songs songwriter Matt had been stockpiling.

Hailing from Bath, Isobel Holly is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter, whose exciting blend of country, rock and soul makes for a truly captivating live performance. Influences such as Fleetwood Mac and Carrie Underwood are reflected in her heartfelt song-writing and powerful vocals. In February, see her play live with her incredible band as part of her UK Tour. Fresh out of the studio, they'll be playing music from her debut album. Expect intense guitar solo sections combined with delicate lyricism

Jennifer Stewart is a singer songwriter from Scotland now based in London. Her songwriting is heavily influenced by Soul and R&B artists such as Beyonce, Frank Ocean and Lianne La Havas. She will be bringing an acoustic set of her Pop/R&B songs which lets her soulful voice shine through.
