With a nod to classic influences such as Blondie, the Strokes and the Smiths, Stranger Girl combine their firm indie rock roots with a 21st centuary twist of polished soundscapes and explosive pop melodies. Lead singer Melissa’s emotively raw lyrical style and dynamic shifts in storytelling have become something that frequently resonates with listeners of the band.
Still in the early days of their musical releases, the group have already been featured on Spotify’s ‘Hot New Bands’ playlist, as well as having several features on BBC Introducing South, including ‘Track of the Day’. Stranger Girl have one more single lined up for release this summer.

21 year-old Nick Roche is a singer-songwriter and producer. Roche’s release “Pink Sounds” in 2017 demonstrated his versatility, with his bedroom production fusing indie-pop, hip-hop and funk together. A string of headline gigs in 2018 had Roche perform the EP with his live band. A year on, Roche is working on his new EP - in which he’s described as his “concrete sound” and perfect for gigs.
Nicholas Patrick is a guitarist, vocalist and producer. He and his band play a range of originals, from chilled-out and mellow to up-beat and groovy. His deep and meaningful sound is inspired by genres such as alternative and singer-songwriter, and he draws influence from artists such as Jordan Rakei, Mac Ayres and John Mayer.
Recently founded, Roma Palace (a name chosen with the idea of two fanciful evocations of a dream romance), is the brand new project of three best friends who share a passion for melody, catchy hooks and generally just creating memorable music that makes you wanna move. They describe their sound as a mixing bowl with John Mayer, The Strokes, Gorillaz, Phoenix and Parcels as the ingredients.
Roma Palace are a tight trio unit featuring two Essex boys David Ngochinya (Austrian born and part Nigerian) on drums and Craig Glynn on bass, the group is rounded off by French native Pol Mira who brings his unique vocals and blues driven guitar style to the table, having honed his craft playing in numerous bands in France. After their debut single release 'Tell Me' they went through the Glastonbury Emerging Talent final and had the opportunity to play Glastonbury 2019.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Athena Skye is a talented emerging singer/songwriter who has been singing and performing since the age of 8. Growing up, Athena was trained both vocally and musically at the renowned Jan Smith Studios where many acclaimed artists have gone such as Usher, Justin Bieber, and Drake. At the age of 13, Athena began posting covers on Youtube which allowed her to work alongside YouTube Rapper MattyBRaps, which gained her over 50 million views collectively. Today, Athena Skye is breaking the rules with her genre-bending catchy pop melodies and aims to create music that resonates with the soul. A new pop artist that simply cannot be put into a box, she pushes boundaries both melodically and lyrically in her music. Her sound take influences from all genres and an array of artists such as Jessie J, Tori Kelly and Raye. Writing the majority of her songs herself, her music has always come from a place of personal experience with many themes revolving self-love and acceptance. In sharing this music, she hopes that she can connect with her audience on a deeper level. Having British roots, Athena recently moved to the UK to pursue her music career. Residing in London, she is working toward new music that reflects her new genre-bending sound. She hopes that with the release of her new music she can introduce herself as the pop artist she has always aspired to be.
