Saturday 23rd February 2019
Goldust are an indie rock band hailing from London, consisting of Dan Wilcox (frontman/guitar), Sven Steyn (guitar and backing vocals), Josh Lloyd (bass) and Ron Punter (drums). They launched themselves into the London circuit in late 2015 and since then they have performed a number of festivals and legendary music venues in and around the Capital.
Early 2019 will see the release of their first professionally recorded EP. These tracks demonstrate a diverse range of styles and influences, ranging from such tracks as ‘Desires’, which includes a super catchy melody with hard-hitting guitar riffs, to ‘Better Days’, a slower and more intense indie track (with some social commentary included).
The band makes no apology about playing a style of music that’s reminiscent of retro rock n’ roll, but they have been able to mix this with a more contemporary style, thereby creating a sound that’s both unique and inclusive. They are pumped and ready for what will be a tremendous year for the band, including an EP launch at the legendary ‘Spice of Life’ in Soho, which will take place on the 23rd February 2019. Doors open at 7pm.
